It is a Novel design paradigm that explores lucrative use of organic photovoltaic (OPV) technology for utilization of solar energy while creating a sustainable environment that offers solutions to the renewable energy needs of the neighborhood’s growing population density and adding a unique futuristic quality to the neighborhood and to the city as a whole.
The idea of Unique energy boulders tower is based on values that privilege sustainability and environmental concerns. It will contribute to the neighborhood in several ways. The design gives a synergic approach to the environmental and economic aspects of sustainability. The environmental aspect presents an energy sufficient structure that is derived from the solar radiations. It serves as an energy harvester plant which converts sunlight to electrical energy during the day by means of organic photovoltaic (OPV) technology which in turn is used for showering light to the neighborhood at the night by programmed inbuilt LEDs and storing the surplus energy for social emergencies. The night lighting of a single identical flying boulders tower covers an area of 1sq km which marks the spacing among then in the neighborhood.
