GRAND PRIZE Out of the twenty top finalists, one grand prize winner will be chosen by the judges to receive the $1000 cash prize and the highest honor of the competition. The grand prize winner will be featured on Inhabitat.com, Dwell.com and in the December issue of Dwell Magazine. 2 runners up and a ‘Reader’s Choice’ winner will also be selected, based on the popular vote online. The 2nd prize winner, 3rd prize winner, and ‘Reader’s Choice’ winner will all also be featured in the December issue of Dwell magazine. *The ‘Reader’s Choice’ prize is based exclusively on the online popular vote, and may overlap with any of the other prizes, which are ultimately decided by the judges. So, technically the ‘Reader’s Choice’ could also be the first place or second place winners. Judges make the final call on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners, whereas ‘Reader’s Choice’ is determined exclusively by popular vote.
